How to report a repair
- The quickest way to report your repair is by calling us on 01626 322722.
- Select option 2 if this is the first time you have reported this repair.
- Select option 1 if you have spoken to us about this before.
- If you would like to report your repair online, you can use My Teign. The links are on the My Teign page of this website.
Templer HomeBuild
Our repairs company, Templer HomeBuild, deliver a comprehensive responsive repairs service for our tenants. This includes gas servicing, appliance testing and repairs. They also undertake planned maintenance works, alongside work to bring a property back up to the required standard after one resident has moved out and before another moves in.
Emergencies
Emergency repairs can be reported 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the number above. We will need somebody over the age of 16 to be at the property so that Templer HomeBuild can carry out this type of repair. Emergency repairs are carried out where there is an immediate danger to you in your home, the public, the property itself, or it would compromise the health, safety or security of you or your home. All other repairs will be completed within 30 days (42 days if it requires an inspection survey).
Some items or jobs, such as broken sink plugs and chains, bleeding radiators, shower curtains, toilet seats and internal door handles, are your responsibility. Please refer to your tenancy agreement for more information.
