Community Engagement

Getting involved with and giving back to your community can be a really useful way to combat loneliness and isolation.  

There are several housing drop-ins across our community. You can attend and get support from Teign Housing staff, as well as linking up with other local services. Visit the drop-in session page to find out when or where they are held.

Devon Libraries operate across the whole of Devon and offer a range of drop-in sessions for both children and adults.

Eat That Frog offers a range of courses and supports learning opportunities for anyone looking to improve their skills, including digital training, CV writing and other employment support.

South Devon Food Alliance

The South Devon Food Alliance has links to local services that work to ensure people can access a healthy diet despite rising food costs. These services include Food Banks, Community Larders and Social Supermarkets. They are often able to provide additional support and signposting if needed.

Get Involved

Teign Housing is dedicated to enhancing our communities and assisting local organisations that benefit our residents. If you are involved in any groups that support our residents, please consider applying to our Community Chest Fund, which can provide up to £500 in funding for successful applicants. The voice of Teign Housing customers is vital in ensuring we shape our service in line with our customers’ needs and expectations.
