Report an Accident, Incident, Property Damage, or Near Miss
Your safety and well-being are important to us, and we are committed to creating a safe environment for all residents and visitors in our housing communities. If you have experienced or witnessed an accident, incident, property damage, or near miss, we want to hear from you.
Reporting these events helps us:
- Identify and address safety hazards promptly
- Improve our housing services and facilities
- Prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.
What Can You Report?
- Accidents: Any event causing injury to yourself, others, or pets
- Incidents: Events causing concern or risk but without injury
- Property Damage: Issues like broken windows, damaged communal areas, or structural problems
- Near Misses: Situations where an accident or injury was narrowly avoided.
How to Report:
- Phone: Call the Customer First Team on 01626 322722, option 2, during working hours
- Email: Send details to customerhub@teignhousing.co.uk. If an immediate response is required to make something safe, please call the Customer First Team rather than emailing.
What Information to Provide:
- Your name and contact details
- The date, time, and location of the incident
- A brief description of what happened
- Details of any injuries, damage, or hazards
- Photos, if applicable (optional but helpful).
What Happens Next?
Once we receive your report, we will:
- Investigate the incident as needed
- Take appropriate steps to resolve the issue or improve safety.
